Ta da!

Finally! I finished another project, my baby blanket is complete :)

I think though I was that excited to get it finished I maybe didn't concentrate enough and rushed sewing the edging onto the blanket. I should have taken time in hindsight to tack it on so I didn't just blindly sew round and guess how much I needed on each side (although I did keep laying it out while I was finishing knitting the edging to ensure I had enough). so as my casting on and first couple of rows on the edge was VERY loose I ended up having to run over a little bit and sew up the loose stitches which means I have a little bit more on the last corner than the others.

But all in all, I'm very pleased with myself, no dropped stitches or errors that weren't corrected :)

All I need to do now is give it a good wash in Dreft, then lay it out and block it to make sure it keeps it's shape when drying then I can wrap it up in tissue and pack it away in my "bottom drawer for babies" :) - I can see now I've finished and attached the edging that it's taken that long the main blanket is a good few shades darker where I started it to the end and the edge! I'm sure it will be fine after washing, fingers crossed! :)

Onto the next project now.............
